Lucy Vega - Founder/CEO and Lead Event Designer.
With a flair for the fabulous, Lucy Vega lives her dream by combining her eye for beauty and unparalleled creativity with her passion for entertaining. Her attention to detail and trademark love for statement items make her events unique. From constructing floral arrangements, to crafting a wedding experience that is guaranteed to leave couples and attendees in awe; Lucy has a knack for interlacing beautiful things to create lasting memories. When defining what she does for a living, it is much more than merely planning weddings, quinciañeras, birthdays, corporate and school events. Lucy is a visual storyteller; one who extracts the vision from the minds and imaginations of her clients and produces fairytales.
Lucy is tremendously family-oriented, and enjoys spending quality time with her teenagers – Nataly and Alexander. She relishes in traveling with her family, specifically to the Caribbean/Hawaii/Mexico, which she refers to as her “happy place.” When her adorable children were born. Lucy became very enthusiastic to create the most amazing birthday parties for her children, that's when Balloons for Everything has made a name for itself and Lucy became a Professional Balloon Artist.
Lucy and her amazing team do all the work, so her clients don’t have to. Her mantra is always to provide her clients with an amazing and unforgettable experience: one that is filled with luxe, grandeur, and bliss.
Lucy entered the industry in 2008, at the age of twenty-eight, ready to take on a new experience. She is primarily self-taught, and believes that she is always the student, forever honing new ways to excel at her craft by attending numerous conferences and collaborating with other planners. Sixteen years later, Gorgeous Event Decor has made a name for itself, continuously thriving and produced successful weddings, cotilions, sweet sixteen, birthday parties and other events. Lucy’s clientele is inclusive and diverse; having ranged from highly recognized corporations, and most importantly, everyday people who desire a professional and exuberant experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Nataly has a big passion for creating unforgettable experiences and a good eye for detail, Nataly is dedicated to making your dream wedding a reality.
Nataly has proven herself as an invaluable asset, working as a planning assistant and event decorator. She's the right hand to her mother Lucy Vega the founder of Gorgeous Event Decor. She has also played an instrumental role in assisting our floral division, gaining valuable knowledge in design and day-of execution. Her hands-on experience with both planning and decor allows her to envision and execute stunning wedding designs and quinciañeras, ensuring that every element is thoughtfully curated to perfection. She finds inspiration in the process of turning a vision into an extraordinary event and enjoys the entire journey.
Outside of work, Nataly unwinds by spending time with her favorite little dog Princess and enjoys going on vacations.
Mary is excited to join Gorgeous Event Decor as an Associate Event Decorator and she is proud to be a part of such a talented team. Mary assists with event details and helps coordinate the events on the big day. Mary has been a balloon decorator for the past fifteen years and she enjoys every moment she spends decorating an event. What sets Mary apart is her unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making her a valuable asset in her profession.
Maria del Rosario is happy to be an Associate Event Decorator at Gorgeous Event Decor. She has always been intrigued by the details that go into planning special celebrations – from florals and balloons to color schemes, designs, and timelines.
She handles stressful situations with grace, has a strong attention to detail, and manages complex logistics to ensure that events flow smoothly. She is proud of the passion she pours into her work, her commitment to helping people, and her role in bringing people together for a good time.
Maria del Rosario is valued for her candor, caring personality, honesty, and sincerity, and always finds herself in the midst of creating memorable events for people around her.
